About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing in Little Rock, AR. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to customers who require roadside assistance.

Your responsibilities will include responding timely to road assist calls, performing diagnostics and repairs, restocking the rapid assist vehicle with necessary tools and supplies, and maintaining the road assist vehicle as required. When not on road calls, you will assist with designated in-shop repairs as directed by your supervisor.

Key Skills:

  • Prior experience in tractor trailer repair
  • Proficiency in using various repair tools
  • Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions
  • Familiarity with DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety policies
  • Basic computer skills for data entry into maintenance systems

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Vocational/Technical or certification preferred
  • Specialized training in vehicle component repair preferred
  • Current CDL license with air brake certification required
  • Shift premiums apply (2nd shift: $2.00/hour, 3rd shift: $3.00/hour)
