Job Overview

DC Marketing Inc DBA JB Hunt is seeking a skilled Logistics Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and targeting potential clients who require logistics services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employ a consultative sales approach to understand client requirements and offer tailored logistics solutions
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients through effective communication and personalized support
  • Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and lead generation activities
  • Engage with potential and existing clients to understand their logistics needs and challenges, and educate them on available solutions
  • Provide pricing and secure contracts with clients to align with both their expectations and the company's capabilities
  • Track and trace all freight, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities
  • Provide regular reports to management on sales performance and progress
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution
  • Demonstrated sales skills, including prospecting, lead generation, consultative selling, and the ability to close deals effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex logistics solutions and build relationships with clients
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to understand and address client needs, providing solutions that align with their business goals
  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain management software, as well as proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) tools to track and manage sales activities
