About the Role:
The Senior Manager, Supplier Relationship Optimization is tasked with the development and oversight of our supplier management and outsourcing initiatives in North America. This role is crucial in ensuring that supplier partnerships are effectively nurtured and maximized.

This position is responsible for pinpointing supplier management and outsourcing activities, as well as establishing processes to evaluate and measure compliance with program standards.

Relationship management is vital, and this individual will be expected to collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to drive success.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Contributing to the creation and execution of Supplier Management and Outsourcing frameworks.
  • Collaborating with Compliance, Legal, and risk management teams to define program requirements.
  • Enhancing supplier performance.
  • Creating and facilitating stakeholder and supplier forums to support management activities.
  • Identifying improvement opportunities and working with teams to implement solutions.
  • Providing regular management reports.
  • Maintaining a portfolio of suppliers and corresponding management owners.
  • Promoting education and awareness to ensure understanding of program requirements.
  • Partnering with Centers of Excellence to oversee program activities.
  • Building strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and finance teams.
  • Proactively identifying supplier risk factors and collaborating with internal teams to mitigate these risks.
  • Staying informed about external market trends and industry practices related to supplier management.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • Experience in third-party management, supplier performance, and outsourcing.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations governing third-party management and outsourcing.
  • A strong understanding of the business and financial implications of supplier management decisions.
  • A proven track record in implementing supplier management and outsourcing programs.
  • Strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on identifying key success drivers and implications of various alternatives.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient project management skills with experience in managing multiple initiatives effectively.
