Job Summary:

To provide exceptional customer service and ensure a memorable dining experience for guests at Horseshoe Bay Resort. This role involves greeting and serving guests in a gracious and professional manner, while maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service: Perform direct communication and hospitality procedures with all guests daily, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Pre-Shift Meetings: Participate in pre-shift meetings with fellow staff and management to discuss restaurant operations and ensure a smooth service.
  • Table Setting and Service: Properly set all tables and stations, follow the set-up checklist, and take guest orders in a timely manner.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serve all food and beverage items with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Food Handling and Storage: Properly treat and store food and company equipment to maintain high standards of sanitation and food safety.
  • Reporting and Communication: Complete daily shift operation reports and communicate all special guest requests to the kitchen.
  • Teamwork: Assist with bussing tables and maintain a positive attitude and warm hospitality image.

Requirements:

  • Age and Certification: Must be 18 years or older to serve alcoholic beverages and hold a valid TABC and Food Handler certificate.
  • Experience and Skills: Previous serving experience, preferably in a resort setting, is valued. Requires a working knowledge of ala carte, fine dining, and white glove practices, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Appearance and Grooming: Maintain impeccable standards of appearance and grooming, including proper associate uniform standards and footwear.
