Key Responsibilities
  • Greets and serves guests in accordance with our high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and sanitation.
  • Displays warm hospitality through positive personality and communication with guests and colleagues.
  • Performs direct communication and hospitality procedures with all guests daily.
  • Pre-shifts with fellow staff and management for all restaurant operations.
  • Sets tables and stations and follows appropriate set-up checklist.
  • Serves food and beverage items in a timely manner.
  • Treats and stores food and company equipment properly.
  • Completes daily shift operation report.
  • Communicates special guest requests to the kitchen.
  • Details every table and menu before each meal period.
  • Assists with bussing tables.
  • Has a thorough understanding of food, wine, and cocktail menus.
  • Exercises a positive attitude and warm hospitality image.
  • Follows labor schedule and work assignments.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • TABC and Food Handler certificate required; Safe-serve certified preferred.
  • Previous serving experience, preferably in a resort setting, is valued.
  • Requires a working knowledge of ala carte, fine dining, and white glove practices.
  • Requires problem-solving abilities.
  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Comprehends reading materials, speaks, reads, and writes English; other languages valuable.
  • Impeccable standards of appearance and grooming.
  • Maintains proper associate uniform standards and footwear, which is slip-resistant, enclosed toe, and heel.
