Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and post daily cash, check, and ACH payments for customer accounts.
  • Reconcile daily batches to the General Ledger (GL).
  • Relieve the receptionist while on lunch and breaks.
  • Review and send out monthly statements to customers.
  • Interact with customers on account issues and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Manage the collection of past due accounts and contact customers as needed to ensure timely payments.
  • Move slow-paying customers through the collection process until the account is paid.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of Accounts Receivable experience, including electronic check deposits and applying customer payments on an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Motivated to manage the collection procedures daily and contact slow-paying customers.
  • Able to meet Accounts Receivable turnover and past due metrics.
  • Pleasant demeanor and able to interact with customers in a calm and confident personality.
  • Some receptionist experience is helpful.
  • A high level of detail and ability to work independently to manage collections.

Compensation: 20-20 Hourly Wage
