Position Title: Parts and Service Sales Specialist

Department: Haaker Sales Division

Reports To: Haaker Division Sales Manager

Position Summary:

The Parts and Service Sales Specialist is tasked with enhancing parts sales and delivering outstanding customer service across the Southern Nevada and Northwest Arizona regions. Key responsibilities include cultivating sales with current clients, identifying new business opportunities, building robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, providing detailed estimates, showcasing product features, and serving as a solutions-oriented partner for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address customer requirements by understanding their needs, proposing suitable services or products, and crafting collaborative solutions.
  • Conduct regular sales visits to customer job sites to assess equipment and capitalize on parts sales opportunities by offering dependable solutions.
  • Work closely with various departments within Haaker (including Sales, Parts, Service, Rental, and Finance) to ensure comprehensive and effective customer support throughout the territory.
  • Promote and sell the product lines represented by the company within the designated area.
  • Evaluate current sales performance, identify potential growth areas, and devise strategies to capture additional sales.
  • Maintain and update customer records to ensure an accurate and current database.
  • Stay informed about the company's offerings, market dynamics, industry trends, competitors, and effective customer engagement strategies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Ability to drive, sit, and/or stand for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in the Automotive, Capital Equipment, or Wastewater sectors.
  • Possession of a Commercial Driver's License Class A or B.

Educational Background:

  • Education: Associate's Degree or higher; completion of a Technical Trade School is also acceptable.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in sales, service, or project management is required.
  • Must maintain a clean driving record, with at least a Class B License obtained within 12 months of hire.

Compensation:

  • Base salary plus commissions, with potential earnings up to $120K annually.
