Position Overview:
A client based in San Rafael, California is in search of a dedicated and empathetic Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of five years of experience in primary care to undertake both clinical and Chief Medical Officer responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking leader who excels in delivering evidence-based patient care and is adept at treating patients across all age demographics. This position is within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that caters to the healthcare needs of San Rafael, Marin County, and Northern California.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid CA NP or PA license
- CA DEA certificate required prior to commencement
- Current CPR certification
- Board certification in relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical oversight and administrative leadership for all functions of the Health Center
- Supervise the Director of Clinical Compliance and other medical staff
- Act as a primary care provider for 20 hours each week
- Facilitate the standardization and integration of services across all patient-facing programs
