As a Physical Rehabilitation Specialist, you will deliver advanced therapeutic interventions and holistic care to effectively address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges faced by individuals with various conditions, including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing tailored treatment goals to optimize patient outcomes and facilitate their reintegration into community activities.
- Coordinating treatment plans in collaboration with other clinical and therapeutic services, as well as leveraging available community resources.
- Preparing for patient discharge by ordering necessary equipment and recommending therapeutic services to ensure continuity of care.
- Conducting evaluations in actual or simulated environments such as home, school, work, or community settings to support a successful return to daily activities, including making recommendations for necessary adaptations or training.
