Position Overview: We are currently seeking a proactive and skilled Employment Developer to enhance our community partnerships and facilitate tailored employment opportunities for the individuals we support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and cultivate partnerships with local employers to foster inclusive job opportunities.
  • Oversee the Employment program, ensuring effective management of employer relationships.
  • Design and implement marketing strategies to effectively promote Compass Maryland's services.
  • Monitor and evaluate program metrics to assess the effectiveness of employment services.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to create engaging marketing materials.
  • Identify potential employer partners and maintain strong, supportive relationships.
  • Develop customized employment opportunities, including micro-enterprises.
  • Manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital and traditional media.
  • Coordinate with local organizations and maintain contracts with affiliates.
  • Conduct informational interviews with potential employers to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Participate in industry events and job fairs to promote our agency and connect with employers.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages effective problem-solving.
  • Analyze data collection for ongoing program improvement.
  • Create mutually beneficial agreements with community partners.

  • Proficient in utilizing technology and training staff effectively.
  • Knowledge of DDA waiver services and billing requirements.
  • Commitment to the principles of Employment First Initiative.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Strong advocacy skills and a commitment to self-determination principles.

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree in human services, marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred. Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities and collaborating with organizations is advantageous.
