THE OPPORTUNITY

As a key member of our Private Investments team, the Investment Director will identify, evaluate, and monitor high-quality private investment managers, particularly in venture capital and growth equity strategies. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with industry professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead meetings with general partners, management teams, and other relevant professionals to assess and evaluate investment managers and their funds.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to provide written assessments and recommendations for investment decisions.
  • Monitor market trends and contribute to Cambridge Associates' thought leadership in private investing.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • MBA or CFA strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and familiarity with private investing.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and strong written and oral communication skills.
