Cambridge Associates is a leading investment firm that believes in the power of diversity and inclusion. We are seeking an experienced Investment Director to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional investment results for our clients.
About the Role
The Investment Director will be responsible for identifying and evaluating high-quality private investment managers, particularly in the venture capital and growth equity strategies. This role will focus on evaluating investment opportunities primarily in support of CA's diverse manager investing platform.
The successful candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and under time constraints. They will also have a strong network of contacts in the PE/VC industry, particularly among diverse networks, to help with relationship building and referencing.
Responsibilities
- Lead meetings with general partners, management teams, and other relevant professionals to assess and evaluate investment managers and their funds.
- Complete written assessments and recommendations utilized by our clients and colleagues to support investment decisions.
- Monitor market trends and contribute to CA's thought leadership in this area.
Requirements
- MBA or CFA strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and familiarity with private investing.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and strong written and oral communication skills.
- Significant experience performing complex financial analysis and modeling.
