Position Overview:
The Resident Care Associate (RCA) plays a vital role in delivering essential non-certified support services in alignment with established protocols and under the guidance of supervisory staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with housekeeping and laundry tasks, including trash disposal and the preparation of unoccupied rooms.
- Support meal service operations, which involves transporting residents to dining areas, delivering trays, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
- Respond promptly to resident call signals.
- Regularly check on residents who may be unable to call for assistance.
- Engage in one-on-one observations as assigned.
- Maintain open communication with nursing staff to report any changes in resident conditions or concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service, companionship, and facilitate engagement in activities.
- Assist clinical personnel in ensuring resident comfort, including monitoring seating positions and hydration needs.
- Support personal care tasks in accordance with state regulations.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience: 0-1 years in a related field.
