Job Summary

The Clinical Leadership Trainer is a key member of the St. Croix Hospice team, responsible for ensuring that all clinical leaders within the organization receive comprehensive training and development opportunities. This role will work closely with senior leadership to develop and maintain a robust training program, ensuring that all clinical leaders have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Training Programs: Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement training programs that meet the needs of clinical leaders, including onboarding, leadership development, and compliance training.
  • Conduct Training Sessions: Deliver training sessions to clinical leaders at various locations, ensuring that all training needs are met and that leaders have a thorough understanding of organizational, regulatory, and management requirements.
  • Provide Coaching and Mentoring: Offer one-on-one coaching and mentoring to clinical leaders to support their professional development and address performance improvement needs.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Regulatory Requirements: Maintain a thorough understanding of CHAP and Medicare requirements for hospice, ensuring that all clinical leaders are compliant and up-to-date on the latest regulations.
  • Collaborate with Regional Leadership: Work closely with regional leadership to ensure that clinical leaders have a thorough understanding of all departmental functions and are equipped to lead and manage independently.
Requirements
  • Current RN License: Must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state(s) of practice.
  • Hospice Experience: At least three years of hospice experience required.
  • Clinical Staff Leadership Experience: At least three years of clinical staff leadership experience, including training and development, required.
  • Education: Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
