Job DescriptionThe Controller will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and presenting financial reports and budgets throughout the year. They will inform management about significant variances and their effects on operations. The Controller will also develop forecasts and budgets on a monthly and annual basis as needed.
Key responsibilities include managing and reconciling fixed assets with the unit's general ledger, overseeing the competitive bidding process, and identifying accounting and financial issues. The Controller will also monitor and authorize all purchases, expenses, salaries, sales, and payments.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance and 5+ years of experience in Accounting. Manufacturing industry experience is a plus, and familiarity with inventory processes is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong Microsoft Excel knowledge, are essential.
