Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Clinical Systems Analyst to join our team at The GW Medical Faculty Associates. As a key member of our Business Analytics team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with various teams to facilitate strategic decision-making and identify opportunities within revenue cycle management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and track standard reporting to support revenue cycle management
  • Cleanse and manipulate performance data to ensure accuracy and integrity
  • Analyze revenue cycle data to identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy, patient access outcomes, accelerate cash collections, and reduce bad debt
  • Partner with the Sr. Director of Revenue Cycle to analyze and improve revenue processes
  • Design and implement business metrics and dashboards with high standards of analytical rigor and data integrity
  • Assess and screen reporting requests to ensure the highest business value
  • Provide guidance and support to reduce denials and adjustments by analyzing data and developing solutions
  • Present information and data to clinical leaders and revenue cycle partners regarding trends and opportunities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
  • Minimum of three years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management and data analysis, preferably within healthcare
  • Minimum of five years of Excel experience, including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, and power pivots
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
