Job Overview:

The successful candidate will collaborate with various project team members to achieve project objectives, utilizing excellent communication skills to generate innovative content. This role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to create services, technology, or concepts that are easily understood by a broad audience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop clear and logical content to ensure maximum reader comprehension.
  • Write and edit technical documents/manuals according to customer specifications.
  • Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are addressed.
  • Analyze information required for policy, procedure, and form documentation development or updates.
  • Review and/or copyedit content developed by team members.
  • Research existing data to maximize use of previously developed text and/or illustrations.
  • Complete assigned tasks according to established deadlines, project specifications, and company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Business Administration, or Technical Writing.
  • Eight plus years' experience writing complex technical documents, including organizing documents and working with internal and external personnel.
  • Knowledge and understanding of administration, supervision, and management.
  • Familiarity with ANSI/NEETA Standards, NFPA 70 E, IEC, ISA, NFPA 59A Standards.
