As a member of the Catering by Michaels event staff, you will play a crucial role at off-site catered events across the Chicago area.

Event Staff are tasked with efficiently serving guests while possessing knowledge of the food and beverage options available. As a comprehensive catering service, responsibilities include both setup and breakdown, necessitating the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting and maintain composure under pressure.

We are currently seeking Servers, Bartenders, and Captains.

Events take place throughout the Chicago metropolitan area; having reliable transportation beyond public transit is advantageous.

Our scheduling is flexible, as we engage our staff for events on a gig basis as W2 employees.

Proficiency in English and professional communication skills are essential. The capability to lift trays weighing up to 30lbs is required. While prior serving experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess reliable transportation. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards is crucial. Professional grooming and courteous behavior on the job are imperative.
