  • Operate, maintain, and repair major power plant and auxiliary equipment, including boilers, chillers, programmable controls, pumps, condensers, generators, air compressors, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond to emergency situations, such as equipment failures or power outages, to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of operations.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of power generation systems with other hospital facilities.
  • Participate in training and professional development programs to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in power plant operations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in power plant operations or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of power generation systems, including boilers, chillers, and generators.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme temperatures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
