Job Summary

As a Data Quality Specialist at Beacon Hill Technologies, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of our data. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze data from various sources, identify and correct errors and inconsistencies, and develop and implement processes to improve data quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze data from various sources, identifying and correcting errors and inconsistencies.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve data quality.
  • Work with a range of data types, including structured and unstructured data.
  • Utilize statistical analysis, data cleansing and transformation tools, and data governance frameworks for analysis and to ensure data integrity.
  • Partner with the data engineering team and data stewards to define and implement data governance initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers/scientists and machine learning engineers to provide support for model building.
  • Have knowledge and experience with Java programming, Spring Boot microservices, and big data technologies in the AWS cloud.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and data preparation techniques.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to provide input on testing progress and challenges.
  • Support the development and implementation of data quality policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Requirements
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of data integration principles and data governance frameworks.
  • Knowledge and experience with Java programming, Spring Boot microservices, and big data technologies in the AWS cloud.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and data preparation techniques.
