Job Summary:

As an Automotive Image Specialist at Hendrick Automotive Group, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality images of vehicles for our dealership's website. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Select and assemble photography equipment according to subject material, anticipated conditions, and knowledge of function and limitations of various types of cameras, lenses, films, and accessories.
  • View subject and setting; plan composition, camera position, and camera angle to produce desired effect.
  • Estimate or measure light level or create artificial lighting with flash units, lights, and lighting equipment.
  • Make adjustments to camera, lens, or equipment to compensate for factors such as distorted perspective and parallax.
  • Stock in inventory and prepare vehicle for service prep.
  • Update Internet photos.
  • Photos need to be professionally edited, resized with text added and posted to the Company Internet.
  • Maintain CSI at or above Company standards.
  • Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
  • Participate in required training.
  • Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
  • Follow Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrate the Company's Core Values.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education:

A GED, High School Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, Master Degree, or Doctorate Degree in a related field is preferred.

Experience:

Prior photography experience is desired. Up to 3 years of experience is preferred.

Certifications:

A valid Driver's License is required.

Skills:

Basic computer skills to utilize timekeeping system. Ability to edit and resize photos on the dealership website.

Work Environment:

The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Environment Demands:

Duties are performed throughout the premises, both indoors and outdoors. Due to the nature of the position, employee may be exposed to various work environments and required to perform a variety of tasks.
