About the Role:

The Maintenance Manager will oversee the facility maintenance for the entire apartment community. This is a working supervisory position involving a wide variety of preventative maintenance and repair responsibilities. Rotating on-call shifts is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective delegation of assignments to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Establishing and adjusting work procedures to meet schedules and increase productivity
  • Implementing changes to improve maintenance operations and quality of work
  • Mentoring new and current maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Inspecting the quality of completed work to ensure it meets company standards
  • Managing inventory control and requisitions to ensure efficient use of resources

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry principles and practices
  • Direct experience in residential facility maintenance, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Strong supervision, troubleshooting, communication, training, and problem-solving skills
