PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively implement educational components and resources in the program : Apply the philosophy, pedagogy, and fundamental organization of the program. Execute each segment of the daily instructional block. Differentiate instruction based on student needs. Efficiently manage a Savvas curriculum classroom, integrating technology and devices. Utilize data and reporting tools to influence instruction and decision-making. Model coaching dialogues that assist administrators in providing effective teacher feedback. Job-Embedded Coaching and Modeling: Guide educators in applying the philosophy, pedagogy, and basic structure of the program. Advance teachers in their instructional practices. Tailor instruction based on teacher and student needs. Observation and Support: Observe classroom practices post-professional development to assess implementation progress of the Savvas program. Provide educators with critical feedback to enhance implementation of key instructional features. Offer feedback on observable practices learned from Model Lesson/Lesson Study opportunities. Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize the Savvas Realize platform to demonstrate assessment progress markers. Differentiate instruction based on student needs. Administrator Support: Leverage Savvas program tools to identify implementation needs. Observe strategies and practices employed in the instructional block and provide feedback to educators. Comprehend and identify the philosophy, pedagogy, and fundamental organization of the program. Administrator Coaching: Classroom and instructional coaching. Facilitation of training to support implementation. Provision of onsite technical assistance. Maintain regular and ongoing communication with school and district leaders.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. Experience in delivering workshops and coaching to educators required. Proficiency in classroom-based technology integration. Experience with differentiated instruction. Familiarity with NCTM's eight effective mathematics teaching practices. Proven success as a classroom teacher with at least five years of experience in grades 3-5 in the Math content area. Strong collaboration and team-building abilities. Knowledge of standards-based reform, curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Capability to strategically plan with and coach school leaders and classroom educators. Ability to provide instructional support related to effective teaching strategies across content areas using instructional technology. Strong problem-solving capabilities. Excellent presentation skills for both large and small groups. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in scaffolding instruction for English Language Learners. Background in bilingual education. Experience in scaffolding instruction for students with disabilities. Strategies for effective classroom use of instructional technology. Experience in Virtual Teaching and Learning.
