Senior Program Officer, Advocacy, Child Survival

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Officer to join our Global Policy and Advocacy team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing policy and financing advocacy strategies to advance our mission of improving child health and survival.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead the execution of policy and financing advocacy strategies to achieve our program goals.
- Track and analyze key trends in child health policy and financing to inform our advocacy efforts.
- Manage a portfolio of strategic investments to support our program goals.
- Support communications activities to build salience and visibility for our program.
- Leverage existing partnerships and platforms to build trust and support for our program.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of policies and financing trends for child health programs.
- Engage with program teams to align on policy and financing priorities and metrics for impact.
- Foster and maintain existing partnerships and alliances to advance our program goals.
- Outstanding knowledge and experience in technical advocacy and communications related to policy and financing advocacy.
- Experience working with government partners and diverse partners on development and health issues.
- Proven expertise in successful resource mobilization efforts for child survival programs.
- Experience communicating around complex policy and advocacy efforts.
- Understanding of key issues concerning child health and broader health and development areas.
- Experience in strategic portfolio development and team management.
- Ability to work in a complex, matrixed environment and build collaborative relationships.
We offer a competitive salary range of $204,600 to $317,100 USD, with a range of $222,900 to $345,500 USD in Seattle and Washington D.C. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, generous paid time off, paid family leave, and opportunities to engage in employee communities.
