The Chair of our Department of Dermatology will play a critical role in advancing the academic, research, and clinical missions of our department. As a leader in the field of dermatology, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our department and contribute to the growth and development of our faculty and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership to the department, developing and implementing plans to advance education, research, and clinical missions.
- Lead a diverse team of faculty members and staff to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Cultivate partnerships with other departments and organizations to advance the field of dermatology.
- Oversee the department's budget and ensure compliance with institutional guidelines.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (M.D.) required; Board certification in dermatology also required.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and hold a Virginia medical license.
- Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in a academic medical center or similar setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial management principles and ability to manage resources effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Estimated Salary: $350,000 - $450,000 per year.
