We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Sacred Heart. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including implementing and monitoring patient care plans, monitoring and recording patient condition, and communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines, including physicians, therapists, and social workers.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient information and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider certification, Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing, and Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
