Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Hunt RPO is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Austin. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for various building types, including commercial office spaces, schools, and healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and generate AutoCAD and Revit files for MEP engineering needs, focusing on HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
  • Manage projects from start to finish, establishing schedules, assigning resources, and ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Maintain and organize mechanical engineering documents, schedules, and project-related materials.
  • Review mechanical design submittals and conduct site visits to address any issues or conflicts.
  • Prepare project status updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop new business opportunities through relationship-building with existing and new clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with at least 6 years of experience in HVAC or plumbing design and project management.
  • Current PE License.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with experience in HVAC modeling programs like TRACE700, CHVAC7.0, and AIRMaster.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
