About the Position

The University of Georgia is seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor of Gender and History of Medicine to join our esteemed faculty. This is a tenure-track position in the Department of History, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary research and teaching.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the history of medicine and gender studies
  • Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in top-tier journals
  • Develop and maintain a strong research program with a focus on gender and medical history

Requirements
  • Ph.D. in History, Gender Studies, or a related field
  • Strong research and teaching record
  • Experience with interdisciplinary research and teaching
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
