Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and allocate mitigation teams and equipment in property restoration scenarios.
  • Evaluate team skills and mentor individuals to bridge operational gaps.
  • Review candidate qualifications and conduct interviews in collaboration with other leaders.
  • Oversee a network of subcontractors to guarantee that third-party service providers meet the same standards as in-house staff.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to ensure client requirements are fulfilled promptly.
  • Administer reconstruction project budgets under the guidance of designated Project Managers.
  • Record project milestones and other pertinent information in project management systems.
  • Identify potential project risks and communicate them to project managers.
  • Engage directly with clients during escalated situations or complex project deliveries.
  • Provide training to staff to enhance productivity, regardless of their experience level.
  • Ensure that Quality Metrics (Service Level Agreements) are documented and that minimum insurance carrier standards are upheld.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to promote morale and maintain/improve project delivery standards.
  • Manage inventories of both commonly used and specialized building materials as necessary.
  • Support technicians and subcontractors on-site when needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior leadership experience in restoration, construction, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.

Preferred:

  • At least 2 years of experience leading a team of 4 or more in a restoration setting.
  • Journeyman's certification in a relevant trade.
