We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our faculty as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Criminology and Justice. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the academic excellence of our School, engage in research and teaching, and participate in service activities.
Key Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in criminology and justice, including face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.
- Develop and maintain a research program that aligns with the School's research priorities and contributes to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
- Engage in service activities, including departmental and university-wide committees, and participate in community outreach and engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and assessment strategies that promote student learning and success.
- Ph.D. in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- Strong research and teaching background in criminology and justice, with a focus on victimology or forensics.
- Ability to develop and maintain a research program that aligns with the School's research priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and community partners.
