Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Applied Behavior Analysis Department at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology is seeking highly qualified adjunct instructors to join our faculty at our Chicago Campus. We offer a wide range of coursework in ABA, including a Verified Course Sequence (VCS) that meets requirements for the BACB 5th edition Task List.

Courses and Modalities:

Courses run 15 weeks during the Spring and Fall semesters, and 8 weeks during the Summer semester. We offer two modalities:

  • Weekly - Monday through Thursday, morning, early afternoon, or evening each week.
  • Executive-style blended - meeting one day (Saturday or Sunday) per month with online assignments and brief remote meetings in between.
Principal Duties:

Engage students in ABA curriculum through discussion and assignments as outlined in the course syllabi. Provide students substantive feedback and respond to student questions and concerns in a timely manner. Maintain communication with department administration, faculty, and students.

Position Qualifications:
  • BCBA or BCBA-D required.
  • Doctoral degree preferred.
  • Teaching experience (3+ years preferred).
  • Strong commitment to academic excellence, research, community service, and diversity.
  • Exemplary professional experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

This opportunity is budgeted at $1,124-1,540 per credit and may vary per course with student enrollment. Additional compensation factors may impact total compensation.
