About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team at Lower Bucks Hospital. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide basic nursing care to all patients, including vital sign checks, wound care, and medication administration.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients, including restocking supplies and maintaining equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current Phlebotomy certification preferred.
  • Current EKG certification preferred.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification required and must be maintained current.
  • Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  • Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.
