Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the buying team to ensure accurate pricing and inventory management.
  • Supervise and train team members to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with the management team to ensure seamless operations and address any concerns.
  • Assume responsibility for the bakery department when the Department Manager is absent.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve bakery operations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a bakery or food service management role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds frequently.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
