Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to fill the role of Pharmacist in Charge at our pharmacy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients
Provide thorough guidance on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations
Maintain precise records and responsibly manage controlled substances
Train and mentor pharmacy staff to uphold best practices
Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient care
Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess
Efficiently handle insurance claims and reimbursements
Professionally address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns

Requirements:

Valid pharmacist license as per state regulations
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution
Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
Experience in inventory management and implementing cost-saving measures
Proven success in managing a pharmacy team effectively
