Starr Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Monitor Tech to join our Telemetry Department. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a high level of attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor multiple patients' vital signs and identify any abnormalities or changes in their condition.
  • Read and record telemetry test strips, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Intervene promptly in cases of patient distress or significant arrhythmias, collaborating with nursing staff as needed.
  • Identify and correct equipment artifacts, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient assessments, telemetry findings, and any changes in patient condition.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues to the supervisor.

Requirements:
