Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Mixer Driver to join our team at Interstate Concrete & Asphalt. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a ready-mix concrete truck to deliver high-quality products to construction sites across the area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operational order and report any maintenance or repair issues.
  • Operate the ready-mix concrete truck to deliver to construction sites, obeying applicable laws and following dispatch instructions.
  • Ensure the quality of the product delivered, including slump and other critical factors.
  • Maintain communication with the dispatcher as necessary regarding deliveries and check delivery tickets for special instructions.
  • Collect money from customers and record transactions on customer receipts.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to ingress and egress the truck by navigating 2 steps with grab bars present.
  • Ability to manipulate the truck's steering wheel, shifter, and other various levers and knobs necessary for operation.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
