Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Avionics and Electrical Systems Technician to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As an Avionics and Electrical Systems Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact.
  2. Implement process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising safety or quality.
  3. Perform the installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components and systems per Engineering specifications, drawings and maintenance manuals.
  4. Ensure quality and efficiency of all installations.
  5. Acquire and demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to effectively and efficiently repair or replace defective components and wiring.
  6. Perform and comply with engineering changes and modifications as required.
  7. Assist in set up and operation of necessary test equipment; conducts functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
  8. Ensure that all work performed on the aircraft is properly and completely documented and ready for inspection.
  9. Test and maintain test equipment, electronic systems, and components.
  10. Comply with the company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program and all safety regulations.

Requirements

  1. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, work in confined areas and lift up to 50 pounds.
