Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier/Host at Golden Corral, Zeal Group. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service:
    • Greet guests warmly and offer a personalized invitation to return as they leave.
    • Offer assistance to guests who require help, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
    • Process GC On the Go To-Go orders with accuracy and speed.
    • Provide friendly and courteous phone service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
    • Handle payments accurately and efficiently, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
    • Stay up-to-date on position responsibilities, including just-in-time delivery, and ensure seamless execution.
    • Have a thorough knowledge of menu items, prices, and buffet offerings, enabling you to make informed recommendations and answer guest questions.
  • Cleanliness:
    • Maintain a high level of organization and cleanliness at the vestibule, host/cashier station, and surrounding areas, adhering to local health department regulations.
    • Assist in setting up the buffet, ensuring labels are correct and the area is clean and well-maintained.
    • Clean all buffets and surrounding areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
    • Perform daily duties, ensuring cleanliness, service, and quality standards are met.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Manage the cashier drawer, maintaining low cash levels to ensure a safe work environment.
    • Ensure accurate drawer balances through daily paperwork and reconciliation.
