Gifted and Talented Education Specialist

The International School of Denver is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Gifted and Talented Education Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Learning Support department, you will play a vital role in identifying and supporting gifted and talented students, as well as providing executive function coaching to students and faculty across the campus.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement programs to identify and support gifted and talented students
- Provide executive function coaching to students and faculty to improve executive function skills
- Collaborate with faculty to develop and implement individualized learning plans for students
- Participate in Student Support Team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, maintaining and updating documentation as needed
Requirements
- Master's degree in education or related field
- Minimum of five years of experience in education, preferably in gifted and talented programs
- Qualifications and experience in executive function coaching
- Knowledge of best practices and developmental needs of middle school students
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
