We are seeking an exceptional Anesthesiology Professor to join our faculty at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care as a generalist anesthesiologist, performing various cases, including orthopedics, GYN, community OB, abdominal cases, general vascular, and kidney transplants.
- Supervise residents, CRNAs, and SRNAs, ensuring their growth and development in a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Participate in academic activities, including teaching, mentoring, and departmental conferences, to contribute to the department's academic excellence.
- Be available for call, with a reasonable expectation of 3-4 overnight calls per month, and occasional evening and weekend calls.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives, including extramural grant funding.
- Completion of a US-approved residency in Anesthesiology or equivalent training and certification.
- Board Eligibility or Certification in Anesthesiology, with the possibility of equivalence on a case-by-case basis.
- Research experience is highly desirable, but not required.
