About the Role

The Senior Business Growth Strategist will work closely with our Vice President of Business Development and Chief Commercial Officer to:

  • Build and manage strategic relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Secure new projects to drive company revenue.
  • Help clients meet their goals and achieve sales objectives in the Boston, MA region.

This is a permanent position that requires minimal travel (up to 30%) and offers a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Nurturing and growing existing client relationships.
  • Generating and closing new business opportunities.
  • Leveraging lead generation tools such as ZoomInfo, SalesForce.com, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Identifying, qualifying, and closing business in the Life Sciences industry.
  • Building and managing a sales pipeline to meet revenue targets.
  • Converting warm leads into business opportunities.
  • Drafting proposals and solutions for projects.
  • Addressing client concerns and building strategic relationships.
  • Monitoring client relationships to identify growth opportunities.
  • Creating and presenting quarterly client reviews.
  • Collaborating with internal teams for accurate forecasting and delivery efficiencies.
  • Attending events and leading campaigns to generate project opportunities.
  • Promoting company brand at tradeshows and conferences.
  • Maintaining CRM with up-to-date lead and opportunity data.
  • Assisting in evaluating potential partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field, or equivalent experience in sales, business development, marketing, or communications.
  • 8+ years of experience in Sales or Business Development.
  • Life Sciences industry experience is required.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical, Biomedical, or Medical Device sectors is preferred.
  • Experience managing or selling professional services is essential for this role.
  • A proven track record in developing relationships and cross-selling.
  • CMS experience (Salesforce) is an asset.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Self-motivation and goal-orientation.
  • Excellent project management and consultative sales skills.
  • Ability to build partnerships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong customer service mindset.
  • Tech-savviness with strong soft skills.
