Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of associates to achieve operational excellence and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Collaborate with front-end and back-end operations associates to ensure seamless store operations and effective inventory management.
  • Monitor and coach associates on safe behaviors and lifting techniques to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor non-selling operations to ensure efficient store operations and maximize sales and profitability.
  • Communicate effectively with other Department Supervisors and Assistant Store Managers to drive service, operations, and safety objectives.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct report responsibility).
  • Experience supporting or participating in the process of training, mentoring, and developing associates.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as may be required by law.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting front-end or back-end operations in a retail environment.
  • Experience in customer service roles.
  • Experience in leadership roles with direct report responsibility.
  • Experience working in the home improvement retail sector.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic retail environments.
