Program Analyst Job Description

JRC Integrated Systems is seeking a talented Program Analyst to join our Strategic Defense and International Operations Team in Dahlgren, VA. As a Program Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our high-profile Department of Defense (DoD) programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform feasibility analyses of Government or other vendor identified engineering approaches, solutions, or designs.
  • Develop and document reliability, availability, and maintainability analyses or requirements.
  • Perform functional analyses or functional flows; document systems baselines; and perform system performance interface and interoperability analyses.
  • Perform tests and analyses to verify that the system, subsystem, or component meets the functional, allocated, or product baseline or satisfies other requirements documentation.
Requirements:
  • Five (5) years general experience which includes four (4) years specialized experience in analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals, requirements, and objectives.
  • Developing life cycle cost analyses of projects or performing cost benefit or economic evaluations of current or projected programs.
  • Analyzing information to develop program reporting systems including the systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology.
  • Analyzing new or proposed legislation, regulations, or requirements to determine impact on program operations, engineering design, or security; developing management and/or program evaluation plans, procedures, and methodology; analyzing and evaluating proposed changes in mission or operating procedures.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience related to weapons systems and/or Navy programs.
Bonus Points:
  • Experience working with Hypersonic Weapons.
  • Possessing a current SECRET Clearance.
