Position Overview

We are currently looking for dedicated individuals to fill the role of Life Enrichment Assistant. This position is integral to our community, often referred to as an Activities Assistant or Activity Aide.

Work Schedule

This role offers flexible hours, up to 28 hours per week, with responsibilities spanning both Assisted Living and Memory Care. The schedule includes some weekends, evenings, and rotating holidays.

Key Responsibilities

The Life Enrichment Assistant will support the Life Enrichment Director in the planning and execution of resident activities. These activities encompass recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs. Examples include exercise sessions, arts and crafts, musical performances, group outings, trivia games, bingo, brain exercises, church services, and more.

Qualifications

While prior experience in a senior living activities or life enrichment department is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Essential qualities for our Life Enrichment Assistants include:

  • Patience, compassion, and a caring nature
  • A positive attitude and a cheerful demeanor
  • A genuine love for working with seniors
