About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Budget Coverage Analyst to join our Clinical Research Operations team at Georgetown University Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for generating clinical research billing plans and Medicare Coverage Analyses (MCA) for all industry-sponsored studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of clinical research regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Generate clinical research billing plans and MCA for industry-sponsored studies.
  • Negotiate and compile clinical research budgets and review payment terms.
  • Provide insight and direction to post-award analysts related to invoicing and managing clinical research awards.
  • Collaborate with Contracts and Grants departments to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Review and improve business processes to meet scientific center objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as health care or business.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a related field, including at least 2 years in clinical trials budgets.
  • Direct experience with budgeting oncology or non-oncology clinical trials, Medicare coverage analysis, and research finance.
  • Experience with Clinical Trials Management Systems (CTMS) and ability to input trials and budgets into the system.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a team environment.
Work Environment

This position is designated as Telework and will require regular interaction with the Clinical Research Operations team and other departments. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
