Surgical Services Charge Nurse

The surgical center features state-of-the-art operating rooms, procedure rooms, and a comprehensive preoperative and postoperative area, supported by a diverse group of specialist physicians.
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Surgical Services Charge Nurse to work collaboratively with medical staff and perform a range of responsibilities.
No on-call duties required. Key responsibilities include:
- Expertise in managing a specialized patient population with effective leadership skills.
- Serve as a professional role model for nursing staff.
- Accountability for professional growth and adherence to best practice standards established by recognized specialty organizations.
- Act as a mentor and resource for team members, sharing vital organizational information.
- Fulfill the roles of preceptor and charge nurse.
- Required Experience: 2 years in acute care or 2 years in Interventional/Procedural settings.
- Preferred Experience: 1 year in an Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
- Required Education: For those hired or promoted on/after a specified date, a BSN is mandatory.
- For those hired or promoted within a certain timeframe, completion of a BSN or related degree is required within three years of hire/promotion.
- For those hired or promoted before a specified date, a BSN or related degree or RN Certification in the relevant field is necessary.
- For Ambulatory Surgery roles, those hired or promoted on/after a specified date must possess a BSN.
- For those hired or promoted before a certain date, certification must be achieved within a defined period or a Bachelor's in Nursing must be obtained within three years, along with proof of enrollment in a BSN program.
