Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: Minimum two years of experience in customer service, with a proven track record of providing exceptional service to patients and referral sources.
  • Healthcare Experience: Minimum two years of experience in healthcare, with a strong understanding of patient needs and healthcare regulations.
  • Technical Skills: Minimum one year of experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word, with proficiency in typing (40-50 wpm) and multi-tasking.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Insurance Terminology: Knowledge of insurance terminology and medical benefit concepts.
  • Medical Benefit Knowledge: Understanding of medical benefit plans and coverage.
  • Typing Skills: Proficiency in typing (40-50 wpm).
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Call Center Experience: Experience working in a call center environment, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Basic Math Skills: Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately process patient information and billing details.
Education

High School diploma or GED required.

Compensation

The typical pay range for this role is $28.46 per hour. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
