Position Title: Clinic Registered Nurse

Role Overview:

  • Prepare patients for scheduled medical procedures and assist in comprehensive patient evaluations. Ensure accurate documentation of medical history and perform essential triage procedures in accordance with established protocols.
  • Gather initial health assessments of patients, develop nursing histories, and communicate findings to the appropriate healthcare provider.
  • Support healthcare providers during examinations, procedures, and other activities related to direct patient care.
  • Monitor and verify the accuracy of entries in patient medical records. Maintain all necessary reports, records, statistics, and documentation.
  • Ensure a sufficient supply of medical materials and maintain equipment in optimal condition.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the clinical area to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards, taking corrective measures when necessary.
  • Coordinate external patient appointments as per physician directives and relay information accurately to patients.
  • Handle communications from hospitals and nursing facilities, providing timely information to the healthcare practitioner.
  • Ensure that test results are received and communicated to patients promptly.
  • Complete the medical orientation checklist for new staff.
  • Initiate relevant patient education programs.

Essential Skills:

  • Active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee.
  • Preferred experience of 2+ years in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
