Cardiovascular Lab Manager

About the Role
The Cardiovascular Lab Manager is responsible for performing routine and specialized procedures on patients as prescribed by a physician and directed by department protocol. This role requires leadership skills to coordinate patient care activities of the department and serve as unit liaison to director, medical staff, and other areas. The successful candidate will delegate responsibilities, facilitate and ensure communication among team members, and employ a mastery function to advise and teach other Associates and evaluate care delivered.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the director to facilitate operational changes to meet the needs of our customers.
- Work collaboratively with the cardiovascular team to identify and implement performance improvement initiatives.
- Review and manage departmental supplies and capital/operational budgets in collaboration with the executive director.
- Display effective communication skills and ensure compliance of departmental standards.
Requirements
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree.
- 2-4 years of cardiovascular and intervention experience is required, preferably in a supervisory role.
- BLS - Basic Life Support.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
