Key Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize and design high-quality animations and motion graphics to deliver instructional content in an engaging and visually appealing way.
  • Collaborate with our multimedia specialists, video editors, and producers to create compelling videos that convey educational content effectively.
  • Develop and edit audio associated with motion graphics or animation projects.
  • Find innovative opportunities to translate storyboards into engaging visual experiences.
  • Take ownership of projects by outlining the initial creative vision, creating storyboards, and executing design concepts.
  • Assist in the selection of audio, graphics, colors, and animation styles to achieve the creative goals of projects.
  • Participate in the review and QA of other multimedia team projects.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Four years of related experience in multimedia production, with a specialized focus in motion graphics, animation, and video production.
  • Additional education may substitute for required experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
  • Portfolio with relevant work experience and examples required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in art or comparable work experience.
  • Interest in design, conceptualization, and execution of broadcast graphics for on-air and off-air programming, digital design, image promotion, and non-broadcast video projects.
  • Five to seven years of professional or broadcast experience in video editing, design, motion graphics, and animation, as well as incorporating those graphics into finished edits.
  • Skills in the development of 3D graphics.
Working Conditions

This is a remote, on-call/casual role with a starting salary range of $41.43 HRLY ($9,000.00 targeted; commensurate with experience).
